
Dr. Nickravesh was raised in the Sierra Nevada Mountains near Yosemite National Park with her five brothers and sister. She and her family later moved to the San Francisco area. Dr. Nickravesh attended the University of California, Santa Cruz where she graduated with honors in Biology and minored in French. After spending two years in West Africa as a Peace Corps volunteer, she continued her education at the University of the Pacific Art Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco. Currently she is specializing in Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Nickravesh has practiced dentistry for the past six years, spending four years as a dentist in the Air Force while living in England and Italy, after which she worked in California providing care in public health clinics. Dr. Nickravesh came to Alaska in 2008 for Pediatric Specialty training at the Alaska Native Medical Center.
Dr. Nickravesh enjoys downhill and cross country skiing. In the summer she enjoys hiking, biking, and exploring Alaska with her lab Ginger.
Dr. Nickravesh sings in her church choir and is involved in her church’s program for at risk teens.
